Estudiantes rejected a €6m (£5.2m) bid from Real Betis for Mikel Amondarain. The Argentine club are looking to raise funds through player sales and view Amondarain as one of their most valuable assets. The 21-year-old is under contract until 2028. Real Betis, having sent representatives to Argentina to scout players, is negotiating with Estudiantes for 21-year-old Argentinian midfielder Mikel Amondarain. The Spanish club's pursuit of Amondarain was revealed after it was known they were also in talks with Independiente for Kevin Lomónaco. From the Estudiantes side, it has been indicated that several conversations have taken place, and while an imminent resolution is not foreseen, they acknowledge the negotiations are progressing well.
