Real Betis, having sent representatives to Argentina to scout players, is negotiating with Estudiantes for 21-year-old Argentinian midfielder Mikel Amondarain. The Spanish club's pursuit of Amondarain was revealed after it was known they were also in talks with Independiente for Kevin Lomónaco.
