Mika Mármol Transfer from Las Palmas to Osasuna
According to Marca, Osasuna is interested in signing Las Palmas defender Mika Mármol. Osasuna is targeting Mármol, whose contract expires this summer. The club's sporting director, Braulio Vázquez, indicated that they are considering a move for a player who would be more difficult to sign in the summer. Vázquez noted that Osasuna has a better chance now because some competitors are constrained by their salary caps. Other Primera clubs, including Girona and Espanyol, also want Mármol. However, a transfer is complicated. Las Palmas is reluctant to lose a key player mid-season, and Barcelona is entitled to 50% of any transfer fee, which makes a sale less appealing for the Canary Islands club. Mármol has a release clause of 10 million euros, but his price is devalued by the fact he will be available for free in six months. A move now would also allow the player to avoid a potentially difficult period at Las Palmas after refusing to renew his contract.
