Mihai Stoica, chairman of FCSB's Board of Directors, confirmed the possibility of 19-year-old Romanian midfielder Mihai Toma making his debut for Concordia Chiajna in their next match against Metaloglobus. According to Prima Sport, Stoica stated that Toma has been training with the team. He also mentioned that another player, Stoian, was involved in the discussion but was not likely to play because of a sinus infection. Toma's move is part of a special agreement between the two clubs that also includes players Rareș Andrei, Andrei Dăncuș, David Popa, and Alexandru Stoian. The arrangement is different from a classic loan because it allows FCSB to recall the players at any point during the current season, a mechanism that is permitted by the FRF. Toma, who has been with FCSB since August 2023, has a contract with the club that lasts until June 2027. For the Romania U19 national team, he has 12 caps and has scored 3 goals.
