FC Utrecht will receive a fee of three to four million euros for the sale of 23-year-old Spanish winger Miguel Rodriguez, who is set to return to Spain. The club will earn an amount three times as high as the 1.25 million euros they paid to sign Rodriguez permanently from Celta de Vigo in 2024. Rodriguez's contract with the Dutch club was due to expire on June 30, 2028. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €4.50m. He has been capped five times for the Spain U19 team and has scored three goals.
