Miguel Chaiwa has been linked with the Italian side Fiorentina. He was signed from the Swiss side Young Boys on a three-year contract that runs until May 2028. Hibs are not in a hurry to sell and will seek another substantial fee following the sale of striker Kieron Bowie to Verona for £6m.

Fiorentina and Celtic have shown interest in Hibernian player Miguel Chaiwa and have requested updated information on him. The 21-year-old Zambia international has 16 caps for his country and is under contract until 2028. It is reported that he is among the profiles admired by both clubs as they look to strengthen their midfield. In the current Scottish Premiership season, Chaiwa has made 12 appearances and scored one goal. Hibernian signed him from Young Boys in August 2025 for a reported fee of €800,000. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €1.2 million.
