With over 150 appearances in Italy's third division, he has played for clubs such as Crociati Noceto, Feralpisalò, Carrarese Calcio, and SPAL. He was part of SPAL's team that achieved two successive promotions, and later, he earned another promotion to Serie A with Empoli FC. During his seven seasons with US Cremonese, he secured two more promotions to Serie A and reached a total of 470 professional appearances. For Cesena, he will don the number 4 jersey.
