Mehdi Taremi Transfer from Inter to Panathinaikos
Tuttomercato reports on Inter's negotiation for the definitive sale of Mehdi Taremi. Inter is negotiating the definitive sale of Mehdi Taremi. Olympiacos is currently leading the race for his signature, surpassing PSV Eindhoven and Panathinaikos. Inter aims to complete the transfer and earn around 10 million euros from the transfer fee and salary savings.
Inter is reportedly aiming to offload Mehdi Taremi in the final days of the transfer market. Although he joined Inter last summer on a free transfer from Porto, the Iranian striker apparently did not make a positive impression last season, prompting the management to shift their focus to other players. Panathinaikos is said to have shown strong interest in acquiring the 33-year-old for their squad in Greece, as reported by Sky Sport. His potential transfer to Panathinaikos could instigate a transfer domino effect, paving the way for Fotis Ioannidis's move to Sporting CP and subsequently enabling Conrad Harder to join Milan. Taremi, whose contract with Inter is set to expire in June 2027, has also been associated with clubs such as Sassuolo and Leeds United. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €3.5 million.
