Ten European clubs are monitoring 20-year-old South African central defender Mbekezeli Mbokazi. FC Utrecht, Club Brugge, Anderlecht, Ajax, Sassuolo, Rennes, Eintracht Frankfurt, Bournemouth, Nottingham Forest, and Real Betis are all reportedly interested in the Chicago Fire player. Mbokazi joined the MLS side in December 2025 from Orlando Pirates for a fee of around 3 million dollars. His current contract runs until 2029 with an option for an additional season.
