Ajax will not be exercising the €3.5 million purchase option for Maximilian Ibrahimović, who is on loan from AC Milan. The nineteen-year-old winger, who joined the Amsterdam club in January, is set to return to Milan in the short term. The collaboration was not considered a success as Ibrahimović did not make a lasting impression and also sustained a long-term injury. The player himself wants to go back to his parent club.
