Willem II have signed goalkeeper Maxime Delanghe on loan from Cercle Brugge, a move the Tilburg club announced on Tuesday through their official channels. Willem II required an additional goalkeeper following the loss of Thomas Didillon-Hödl. Technical director Freek Heerkens confirmed Delanghe’s arrival and described him as a quality addition to the goalkeeping group. Delanghe said he is happy with the move to the Eredivisie and sees it as a great opportunity.

Maxime Delanghe, who is 25, joins Willem II on loan from Cercle Brugge until the end of the season. According to Belgian sources, Willem II secured the signing ahead of Sparta. Millwall was also interested, but at Willem II, Delanghe can play every week. Delanghe lost his starting spot at Cercle Brugge last season, which was the reason he wanted to move. He will now play in the Eredivisie.

Goalkeeper Maxime Delanghe wants to leave and may depart for a fee of around 2 million euro, according to Voetbalnieuws.be.

AC Monza has shown interest in Maxime Delanghe, a 24-year-old Belgian goalkeeper currently at Cercle Brugge. This interest is reported alongside interest from other clubs. Delanghe joined Cercle Brugge in July 2023, and his contract is valid until June 2028. He has 3 caps for Belgium U21, and his current Transfermarkt market value is €2.00m.
