Maxime Bernauer, who spent the last season on loan at Saint-Etienne, is set to leave Dinamo as Saint-Etienne has decided to activate the purchase option. Despite being relegated to Ligue 2, Saint-Etienne agreed to a transfer fee of 1.2 million euros, and according to L'Equipe, the deal seems to be completed, marking Bernauer's departure from Zagreb.

Saint-Étienne is set to complete the permanent signing of Maxime Bernauer from Dinamo Zagreb. The French defender impressed during his loan spell, becoming a fan favourite with a string of strong performances toward the end of the season.
