The club missed out on signing Guehi late in the summer transfer window, and with Tottenham also now interested in the defender, Liverpool are said to be exploring other options. According to Football Insider, the Merseyside club has been closely monitoring the 25-year-old Lacroix in recent weeks, with scouts giving very positive reviews. The publication also claims that Lacroix has been described internally as a 'Rolls Royce' defender. The situation is considered one to watch ahead of the January window, partly because Liverpool are looking for potential replacements for Ibrahima Konate, who is nearing the end of his contract. However, any deal could be complicated as Crystal Palace are performing well and may be reluctant to sell a key player. Lacroix's contract at Crystal Palace is valid until 2029, and his market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €25.00m. Borussia Dortmund and Tottenham Hotspur have also been linked with the player.
