Brighton have expressed a desire to buy Matvii Ponomarenko, a 20-year-old Ukrainian center-forward from Dynamo. Brentford, another Premier League club, has also indicated an interest in purchasing the player. In response, Dynamo executives have set a starting negotiation price of 20-25 million euros. There is also interest in Ponomarenko from the German Bundesliga, where two top clubs, RB Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund, are monitoring him. It is said that scouts from the German teams are compiling weekly reports on the forward, and it is claimed their recommendations have changed from routine monitoring to frequently suggesting an urgent acquisition.
