Nicolo Schira reports that several top Italian clubs are interested in Mattia Liberali, a 19-year-old Italian attacking midfielder. According to Schira, Como, Sassuolo, Lazio, Bologna, and Torino are interested in signing him from Catanzaro, and he can be acquired by paying his €6M release clause. Schira also reports that Juventus and Napoli have requested information about the player. Liberali has 17 caps and 5 goals for Italy U19 and in the 2025/2026 Serie B season, he made 24 appearances, scoring 3 goals and providing 4 assists. His current Transfermarkt market value is €8.50m. According to recent reports from June 2026, Catanzaro's president has set an asking price of around €10 million and Juventus was willing to offer up to €8 million. A €3 million buy-back option for AC Milan has also been cited.
