Andrei Nicolescu has confirmed that Dinamo Bucureşti has reached a transfer agreement for Matthias Verreth, a 28-year-old Belgian midfielder whose last club was Bari. Dinamo is set to pay a transfer fee of approximately 200,000 euros for the player, who will sign a three-year contract. According to statements from Nicolescu, discussions primarily took place between the clubs. Nicolescu revealed that Verreth was Dinamo's primary target from the start and fits the coach's requirements. He also mentioned that an understanding with Verreth had been in place for some time and that the player is motivated by the challenge. Nicolescu described the midfielder as versatile, capable of playing multiple positions, and possessing experience in stronger leagues than Romania's, including time at Eindhoven. Nicolescu added that he is considered more mobile than former player Gnahore.
