However, the sporting director for the Tuscan club, Aniello Cutolo, has denied this possibility. According to reports from La Nazione, Cutolo stated that there was no foundation to the story, adding that he had never initiated any negotiations or made a request for the player, and explained that Brunori's financial demands were excessive for Arezzo's reality. Cutolo also clarified that after signing Cerri, the club is not currently seeking another striker. Brunori, who previously played for Arezzo in the 2018/19 season, is expected to leave Palermo this summer as his contract is expiring and he has not been part of the Sicilian club's plans since the middle of last season.
