Panathinaikos and Olympiacos are interested in 28-year-old Uruguayan left back Matías Viña, who has 44 caps for his country. The player is currently with his national team for the World Cup. Viña belongs to Flamengo but has been on loan at River Plate since January, making 14 appearances. Flamengo acquired Viña from Roma in January 2024 for a fee of €8 million, and his contract with the Brazilian club is valid until December 2028. His market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €3.5 million. The loan to River Plate reportedly included a fee of around €428,000 with a conditional purchase obligation of approximately €4.7 million.
