OH Leuven is interested in signing 27-year-old Norwegian midfielder Mathias Rasmussen, who is currently not a regular starter at Union. He has played only 20 minutes this season and was mostly on the bench last season. OHL has made an initial bid which was rejected by Union, but discussions are ongoing. Both a loan and a permanent transfer are being considered. Rasmussen is not opposed to staying at Union, especially with the prospect of playing in the Champions League. His contract at Union runs until June 30, 2027, and his market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €2.00m.
