Mathias Olesen has left Greuther Fürth for Grazer AK in the Austrian Bundesliga, in a loan deal that lasts until June 30, 2026. The Danish-born Luxembourger is leaving the 2. Bundesliga club to join Grazer AK, a team at the bottom of the Austrian Bundesliga. In the current 2. Bundesliga season, Olesen made 12 appearances and provided one assist for Greuther Fürth. The midfielder has 36 caps and one goal for Luxembourg. The midfielder's current market value is €1.00m, according to Transfermarkt. Regarding the transfer, the 24-year-old midfielder said that he felt comfortable at Greuther Fürth from the start and that it is unfortunate it did not work out there, as he would have liked to help the team more.
