Bologna could approach AA Gent for 21-year-old Belgian midfielder Mathias Delorge as the Serie A club looks to increase its midfield competition. The Italian club is monitoring three young players from the Jupiler Pro League and is reported to have a very positive opinion of Delorge and his teammate Tibe De Vlieger. The likelihood of Bologna pursuing a Belgian target has increased because their primary option, Peer Koopmeiners of AZ, is considered too expensive at €20 million. Delorge is still regarded as a great talent despite having his playing time limited by a serious injury.
