Botafogo is prepared to sell Martins for 8 million euros. A meeting was held this week to align expectations ahead of the transfer window opening on July 22. The club's need for funds is demonstrated by an outstanding debt of 6 million euros to Udinese for the player's original transfer in July 2024. It was reported that Botafogo paid €10 million for that transfer. Martins, who has been capped by Brazil at the U20 level, has a contract with the club until the end of 2028.
