Brazilian goalkeeper Matheus Cunha, 24, has an agreement to move to Cruzeiro in 2026, prompting Flamengo to look for a replacement. The club will need to find a new reserve for their main goalkeeper, Rossi, at the end of the season. In their search for a substitute, Flamengo made an offer to Santos for goalkeeper Gabriel Brazão, but the asking price was deemed too high for a backup player. According to Transfermarkt, Cunha has a current market value of €3 million.
