Mateusz Skrzypczak Transfer from Jagiellonia Białystok to Rapid Vienna
Mateusz Skrzypczak has attracted attention from Rapid Vienna in Austria. The defender's contract with Jagiellonia Białystok includes a release clause of 900,000 euros, making him an appealing prospect for clubs beyond Poland's borders. Besides Rapid Vienna, Stoke City, a club in the English second division, has expressed interest in the 25-year-old, who is regarded as one of the top defenders from the last Ekstraklasa season. Skrzypczak, who previously played for and supported Lech Poznań, is also on the radar of his former club. Although there is interest from Lech Poznań, a move overseas appears to be a logical next step after his successes with Jagiellonia, which include winning the Polish Championship, earning a bronze medal in Ekstraklasa, securing the Polish Super Cup, and reaching the quarter-finals of the Conference League.
