Mateusz Łęgowski ended his contract with Salernitana just before the transfer window closed, which could lead to a return to Ekstraklasa and Pogoń Szczecin. The 22-year-old Polish midfielder, being one of four Polish players to depart from Italian clubs, made this decision right before the deadline, allowing him to freely negotiate a contract with his previous team, Pogoń Szczecin, in the Polish league. Besides the possibility of rejoining his former club, Łęgowski has also been associated with clubs like Rapid Vienna, Eintracht Braunschweig, Raków Częstochowa, Venezia, and Cremonese. Transfermarkt estimates his market value at €2.50m.
