Polish international Mateusz Łęgowski has signed for Motor Lublin on a contract valid until June 2028 and has returned to the Ekstraklasa. The 23-year-old midfielder joined as a free transfer after his contract with Turkish club Eyupspor, which was also set to run until 2028, was terminated due to unpaid wages. His move back to Poland follows a three-year period spent abroad in Italy, Switzerland, and Turkey since leaving Pogoń Szczecin in 2023, during which he played for Salernitana and Yverdon Sport. The player stated that he believes Motor is a good place for his development. Łęgowski has one cap for Poland and a current Transfermarkt market value of €2.00m.
