Mundo Deportivo reports that Girona is interested in signing Mallorca's 26-year-old Spanish right-back, Mateu Morey. Girona is closely monitoring Morey as the club intends to sign another right-back, even with the arrival of Javier Boñar. The plan is to have two natural options in the position, which is prompted by the expected finalization of Arnau Martínez's departure. Morey joined Mallorca in July 2024 and his contract is valid until June 30, 2027. His current market value is €1.40m, according to Transfermarkt.
