Mateo Bačić, a 20-year-old Croatian forward who developed his football skills in Zadar and was previously a player of Hajduk, has been signed by Osijek. He moved from Hajduk's junior team to the Italian club Sampdoria, where he played in the Primavera league, scoring six goals in 32 appearances. He also made one HNL appearance for Hajduk in May 2024, where he played ten minutes against Lokomotiva. According to Transfermarkt, the player's market value is estimated at €250k.
