Sampdoria and their city rivals Genoa are both reported to be interested in Mateja Gašić, who is Radnik's 23-year-old Serbian captain. Genoa has been following the right-back for some time, but Sampdoria is now also in contact with the player's representatives and is prepared to sign him. Gašić's contract with Radnik is valid until 2027, and Transfermarkt reports his valuation is approximately one million euros. He joined the club in July 2023 and made 34 domestic league appearances during the 2025/2026 season, scoring one goal and providing six assists.
