Osijek will not sign Matej Mitrović, a 32-year-old Croatian centre-back who had been training with the club for several weeks. The club's sporting director, Kenneth Zandvliet, confirmed that Mitrović is no longer with the team. He explained that following a good conversation, it was mutually agreed that the player should not wait for them, as Osijek currently has too many defenders.
