Croatian centre-back Matej Maglica, 27, is set to join Bruno Petkovic at Turkish top-division club Kocaelispor. Maglica is traveling to Turkey today to sign a two-year contract. Maglica will move to the Turkish top flight for an undisclosed fee. German sources noted that Dinamo and Kaiserslautern had been interested in the player, but that those potential deals were never seriously pursued. He joined SV Darmstadt 98 on 01/07/2024, and his current Transfermarkt market value is €1.20m.
