Marvin Çuni, an Albanian forward born in 2001, has been signed by Sampdoria on a loan deal with an option to buy from Rubin Kazan. His contract with Sampdoria extends until June 30, 2029. The club made the official announcement about the transfer. Çuni, who previously played for Frosinone, becomes the first player to join the team under the leadership of Massimo Donati. In their official statement, the club noted that he was born in Freising, Germany, on July 10, 2001, and stressed that this strategic acquisition is part of Sampdoria's efforts to strengthen their squad. The forward, who also has German citizenship, currently has a market value of €1.00m according to Transfermarkt, which has decreased from a peak of €1.50m in September 2024.
