Marshall Munetsi Transfer from Wolverhampton Wanderers to Nice

A report states that several clubs, which include OGC Nice, are prepared to compete against Paris FC for the signing of Marshall Munetsi.

According to L'Équipe, OGC Nice considers Marshall Munetsi a priority target. The report also states the club is looking to use the player's delicate situation in England for its winter transfer dealings. The same source indicates that Wolverhampton would be open to a loan and Munetsi would not be opposed to a return to France.

OGC Nice is among several Ligue 1 clubs interested in 29-year-old Marshall Munetsi. The former Reims midfielder is reportedly facing significant difficulties at Wolverhampton, which is at the bottom of the Premier League. The characteristics of the Zimbabwean international are said to match the profile sought by Nice coach Franck Haise. Haise is looking for a physical player capable of revitalizing the midfield. Munetsi is reportedly open to a return to France, and his contract with Wolves runs until June 2028. He joined the Premier League club in February 2025 and has made 13 appearances this season, scoring one goal and providing one assist. The midfielder has 34 caps and 2 goals for Zimbabwe. His current market value is €12.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
