Turkish champions Galatasaray are interested in signing Shakhtar Donetsk's 22-year-old Brazilian central midfielder Marlon Gomes and his teammate, winger Alisson Santana. The Istanbul club contacted Shakhtar's Turkish coach, Arda Turan, to inquire about the availability of both Brazilian players. It is said that Turan responded positively to the idea of their departure, and he believed the club could find replacements if they were sold. It is expected that Shakhtar will ask for 20 million euros for Marlon Gomes and 15 million euros for Alisson. Gomes joined the Ukrainian club in January 2024, has a contract until the end of 2028, and has also attracted interest from several Premier League clubs, including Chelsea, Aston Villa and Newcastle United. In the 2025/2026 season, he made 19 appearances in the Premier Liga, scoring one goal and providing one assist. In the summer of 2025, Shakhtar reportedly demanded between €25 million and €30 million from RB Leipzig for the player. He moved from Vasco da Gama for a €12 million fee and currently has a Transfermarkt market value of €12 million.
