Stefano Melissano, Spezia's sporting director, is considering Marko Rog, a 30-year-old Croatian central midfielder, as a potential signing. Rog has experience and technical quality and is available after being released by Cagliari. Injuries have significantly hindered his career in recent years. Over the past two seasons with Dinamo Zagreb, he made 40 appearances and also experienced a cruciate ligament rupture. While he was an important player in Cagliari's promotion during the 2022/23 season, his only appearance this season was for one half in a Coppa Italia match against Frosinone. The Croatian international has 21 caps for his country and a current market value of €600k. Al Wahda and Rijeka have also been recently linked with the midfielder.
