Boban wanted him to waive this clause to negotiate a new contract under different terms, but Pjaca refused. Consequently, a mutual contract termination was agreed upon, allowing Pjaca to seek a new club abroad. Currently, Transfermarkt estimates his market worth at 2.70 million euros.
