Razvan Lucescu is monitoring Marius Marin for PAOK. Marin is a 27-year-old Romanian defensive midfielder whose contract with Pisa is set to expire in June, which will make him a free agent. Other clubs are also reportedly interested in the player. Reports in Italy and Spain last month identified Marin as a primary target for Sevilla, which led their sporting director, Antonio Cordon, to travel to Pisa for personal discussions with Marin. Additionally, AEK's football director, Javier Ribalta, has had Marin under consideration since last year and allegedly attempted to sign him in January. Last summer, both Torino and Sampdoria also tried to acquire the player, but Pisa demanded over €3.5 million at that time. Marin has 36 caps for his country. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €3.00m.
