Croatian Centre-Back Mario Maloča left Jarun and moved to the eastern part of the city, signing a contract with fourth-tier side Maksimir. The 37-year-old has played in more than 500 professional matches, participated in European competitions, and served as captain for clubs including Hajduk, Lechia Gdansk, Greuther Fürth, Gorica and Jarun. NK Maksimir boasted in its announcement that he is returning to where it all began. The defender has one cap for Croatia and made 30 appearances for Jarun in the 2025/2026 Prva NL season. His current market value is €50k, according to Transfermarkt.
