If Galatasaray completes a transfer for a midfielder, 32-year-old Gabonese international Mario Lemina will either be left off the registration list or will have to leave the team because of the 10+4 foreign player quota. Başakşehir is monitoring Lemina's situation closely, and contacts between the two clubs are reported to be progressing positively. Lemina, who joined Galatasaray in February 2025, is under contract until 2028 and has 43 caps for his country. His market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €4.50m.
