Marin Petkov Transfer from Levski Sofia to Lech Poznań

Lech Poznań is interested in Marin Petkow and has been monitoring his situation. According to gong.bg, the 22-year-old may join a new club in the winter, and his current club is already looking for a suitable replacement.

According to Sportal.bg, Lech Poznań conducted scouting activities at the Levski - CSKA derby. Reports from Polish media also state that the Polish champions sent scouts to the derby to observe two Levski players, and that the club's emissaries also watched the performances of Marin Petkov.

The Bulgarian 'Telegraf' reported that a scout from the Polish champion team was present at the derby match between Levski Sofia and CSKA Sofia. The Poznań team is reportedly interested in acquiring two players from the home team, Swetosław Wucow and Marin Petkow. According to the 'Transfermarkt' service, one of the players has been valued at 3.5 million euros since September, and if Lech paid that amount, it would break the transfer record of the Ekstraklasa.

Match Telegraph reported that representatives from Lech Poznań attended the derby between Levski and CSKA Sofia on Saturday to observe the 22-year-old Bulgarian international Marin Petkov and his teammate Svetoslav Vutsov. Petkov is an attacking midfielder, and according to foreign media, he nearly joined another Polish club, Raków Częstochowa, during the summer transfer window. That deal, reportedly for around one and a half million euros, was not completed. The player's current contract with Levski is valid until the end of June 2027. Petkov, who has 20 caps and 3 goals for Bulgaria, joined Levski in July 2019. He has 6 goals and 2 assists in 13 league appearances this season, and his market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €3.50m.
