Marin Petkov, a 22-year-old Bulgarian winger who had been linked with Lech Poznań and Raków Częstochowa, has completed a move from Levski Sofia to Al-Taawoun. The fee paid to the Bulgarian club was approximately one million euros. Petkov signed a contract valid until June 30, 2028, and the Saudi club also secured an option to extend the agreement by another twelve months. The willingness of the 'Wolves' to provide very attractive personal terms was reportedly a key factor in securing the Bulgarian's signature. Petkov has 22 caps and 3 goals for Bulgaria.
