Defender Marjan Farina has joined Chornomorets Odesa on a loan from Shakhtar Donetsk. The loan is for one year, until the end of the 2026/27 season. Farina has already arrived at the club and will work under the guidance of Roman Hryhorchuk.

Maryan Faryna, a 22-year-old Ukrainian centre-back, is not part of Shakhtar's plans. The club could potentially lose as many as seven players due to issues with playing time, a situation reflected in Faryna's zero appearances in the 2025/2026 Premier Liga season. Faryna joined the club in July 2022 and has one cap for the Ukraine U23 team. His contract is valid until June 2029, and his current market value, according to Transfermarkt, is €400k.
