Motor Lublin has activated a clause that extended Marek Bartoš's contract by another twelve months. The agreement was scheduled to expire at the end of June of the current year. The clause gave the club a unilateral option to extend the agreement. In the coming months, there may be talks about extending the contract for a much longer period.

Tomasz Włodarczyk from Meczyki.pl reported that the parties have agreed to automatically extend the document's validity period by 12 months for Marek Bartoš.

In an interview with 'Przegląd Sportowy', 29-year-old Slovakian centre-back Marek Bartoš stated that he would like to stay at Motor Lublin. The coach also said he would like Bartoš to remain at the club. Bartoš's contract is valid until June 30, 2026, and includes an option for a 12-month extension. This season in the Ekstraklasa, he has made 13 appearances and provided one assist, and his market value is currently €400k, according to Transfermarkt.
