Marco Verratti leaving Al Arabi?
Marco Verratti, currently playing for Al-Arabi in Qatar, is another attractive option for Inter de Milán. The Italian midfielder, aged 32, will finish his contract in 2025, making him a realistic option for a free transfer next summer. His experience and quality would make him a perfect complement to a midfield that already features stars like Nicolo Barella and Hakan Calhanoglu.
Inter de Milán is targeting Marco Verratti from Al-Arabi as a key transfer for the winter market to enhance their squad. Verratti, who hasn't played in Serie A, is expected to add creativity and control to Inter's midfield, fitting well into Simone Inzaghi's plans. The transfer involves negotiations for both the deal with Al-Arabi and Verratti's salary. Inter's president, Giuseppe Marotta, is exploring options like a loan or free transfer, considering Verratti's contract expires in June. Securing Verratti in January would give Inter an advantage over other European clubs interested in the summer.
Marco Verratti has expressed an interest in returning to his youth club, Delfino Pescara, before ending his career. He stated in 'L’Équipe' that he would like to play for Pescara again for the sake of his friends and family. Pescara is currently playing in Serie C and is competing for promotion.
Inter Mailand is reportedly showing interest in signing Marco Verratti, who is currently with Al Arabi in Qatar. The publication 'Marca' has reported that the 32-year-old midfielder is contemplating a return to Europe. Verratti's contract with Al Arabi extends until the summer, at which point he would be eligible for a free transfer. Nonetheless, a transfer during the winter window is also a possibility. It is reported that Verratti's current salary is 30 million euros net per season.
