KAA Gent has identified Eibar's Marco Moreno as a target, as the Belgian club wants to add defensive players during the winter transfer window. Moreno is a 24-year-old Spanish central defender who can also play as a right-back and developed in the youth system of Atlético Madrid. The Spanish youth international currently plays in La Liga 2 and is under contract with Eibar until 2027. Moreno joined Eibar in July 2025 and has a current market value of €700k, according to Transfermarkt.
