They have proposed an offer of 11 million euros to PSG for his transfer, with the hope that he would opt for playing in Portugal rather than Turkey. The 29-year-old Spanish forward, who recently spent six months on loan at Aston Villa, is not part of Luis Enrique's future plans at PSG and is likely to leave the club soon. Although PSG had previously reached an agreement with Fenerbahçe regarding Asensio, the player has yet to commit to a move to Turkey, which has given Benfica confidence in their chances of acquiring him. Asensio's contract with PSG is valid until June 30, 2026, and Transfermarkt currently estimates his market value at €20.00m.
