Marcin Kamiński was in negotiations with Pogoń Szczecin before ultimately deciding to join Wisła Płock.
Marcin Kamiński is leaving Schalke as a free agent. Tomasz Włodarczyk reports that serious negotiations are underway for his move to Pogoń Szczecin. His contract with Schalke, expiring on June 30, 2025, has not been extended. He is therefore looking for a new club. Pogoń Szczecin, the fourth-placed team of the previous Ekstraklasa season, is in concrete talks with the 33-year-old.
Marcin Kamiński is set to leave Schalke 04 after having played 102 matches for the club. His contract, which runs until the end of June, will not be renewed. It has been reported by Tomasz Włodarczyk that Pogoń Szczecin is showing serious interest in Kamiński, prioritizing the acquisition of this skilled defender. The 33-year-old, who has previously participated in 158 Ekstraklasa matches, all with Lech Poznań, is being actively pursued by Pogoń Szczecin as a key target, despite being a natural choice for a return to his former team, Lech Poznań. Nonetheless, Pogoń Szczecin's unexpected interest has positioned them as significant contenders in the Polish transfer market, as they aim to harness Kamiński's experience and defensive skills.
