Venezia are considering Marcelo Torres, a 28-year-old Argentinian forward from Gimnasia, as a potential new striker. The player, who has scored 16 goals this season and recently reached 100 career goals in 200 official games, is one of the names on the Serie A club's shortlist. His contract with the Argentinian club is set to expire on December 31, 2026. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €2.80m. Torres has also represented his country at the youth level, earning 14 caps and scoring 9 goals for Argentina's U20 team.
