Marcel Lubik is being loaned to the Polish club Wisla Krakow for the 2026/27 season for the purpose of gaining more match practice. FC Augsburg wished Lubik a successful season with Wisla Krakow.

Rafał Musioł from 'Dziennik Zachodni' reported that GKS Katowice is interested in Marcel Łubik and has made an offer. The journalist suggested that Marcel Łubik may accept the offer. The intention to sign a new goalkeeper is related to an injury sustained by Rafał Strączek, who will be unable to play for several months.

Marcel Łubik stated that he has received preliminary approval for another loan transfer but does not yet know where he will go, as there are currently no specific details. Łubik also said that he is very happy in Zabrze and would prefer to stay; however, he currently has no offer from Górnik Zabrze.

Marcel Łubik is currently on loan at Górnik Zabrze from Augsburg. His loan contract expires on June 30, 2026, and there is no option to buy included in the contract. It is possible that if he continues to perform well, he will change clubs after the loan period ends.
