Swiss-Cameroonian striker Marc Giger, 22, is leaving Union Saint-Gilloise after a season and a half to join ETO FC, a club in the Hungarian first division. Union Saint-Gilloise officially communicated the former Swiss U21 international's departure on a Friday. Giger had joined the Belgian club in January 2025 from Schaffhausen for a fee of €350,000. During his time there, he played in twenty-five official matches, accumulating 680 minutes on the pitch, scoring three goals and providing two assists. He had not been selected by coach David Hubert since the start of the season. At his new club, Giger will be coached by Efrain Juarez, who was previously an assistant to Ronny Deila at Standard and Club de Bruges. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €800k.
