Marash Kumbulla, an Albanian centre-back, after a positive season on loan at Espanyol, is not in the plans of Roma's new coach, Gian Piero Gasperini, for the 2025/2026 season. Cagliari has renewed their interest in Kumbulla, having previously targeted him in past transfer windows. This option has the approval of Gasperini. The 25-year-old's contract with Roma is valid until 2027 and his value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €7.5 million.
